Imam Husayn gave his life to protect everyone’s basic human rights and for the original principles of and high ideals of Islam. He was martyred with 72 of his Companions in a day-long battle. His women and children were taken priosners. But his sacrifice brought about a revolution. A number of comtemporary scholars are assembled to speak about the impact of the Tragedy of Karbala in our times. A beautiful production.
